MEET OUR FOUNDER

Adam Gunther is a political strategist, fundraiser, and campaign operative who has dedicated his career to helping Democrats win.

His political journey began at just 15 years old, getting his first job knocking doors for a (winning) County Drain Commissioner race. Since then, he’s worked at every level, from local campaigns to presidential races, bringing deep strategic insight and a passion for winning tough fights.

As the founder of New Deal Consulting, Adam has helped candidates, PACs, and state and local parties raise tens of millions of dollars through aggressive, innovative, and authentic digital fundraising programs. Beyond digital fundraising, his years of experience mean he has worked in all facets of campaigning. Adam has managed multiple successful races, crafted compelling political messaging, and built winning strategies for Democrats at all levels.

Outside of politics, Adam is a published writer and serves on the Young Professional Board of the Illinois Holocaust Museum and the Chicago Steering Committee of Israel Policy Forum's Atid Program. He is a graduate of Roosevelt University and lives in the Uptown neighborhood of Chicago with his wife, Madison Carey, where he can often be found walking around the neighborhood in any weather condition or at any time of day.
